Why can’t my site be found on Google, Yahoo, or Bing?
I’m going to help answer that question, and many others that pertain to making money online.
So… let’s get started with “Why can’t my site be found in the top 10 of the major search engines?”
Getting your site found on the FIRST PAGE of the major search engines takes a lot of work, but it can be done. Take a look at the following pie chart.

Looking at the pie chart reveals that when it comes to Search Engine Optimization or SEO, backlinks from other sites are 66% of the battle (see below).
• 24% – The general trust and authority that your domain has due to quality incoming links is the largest indicator of SEO success. Google treats links that flow into your site steadily over time as an indication that other people trust your site, find value in it, and reference your content as an authoritative citation. Therefore, Google trusts your site too.
• 22% – The number of links to a specific page on your site matters a lot too. That’s why the engagement and quality of the content of the page is directly related to the probability of attracting natural incoming links.
• 20% – The anchor text of links from other sites (anchor text is the words used in the clickable portion of a link) matters because this is Google’s way of finding out what your page is about according to other people, not just the keywords you choose to use.
As you can see BACK LINKS are of utmost importance. The remaining items are as follows:
15% – On Page Keyword Usage
7% – Traffic and Click-Through Data
6% – Social Graph Metrics
5% – Registration Hosting Data
As you can see getting Back Links is more than half the battle for search engine optimization.
If you have “money” and “no time” you can hire a search engine marketing company to do your Internet Marketing for you.
Unfortunately you are then dependent upon that company, because it takes consistent maintenance to KEEP your pages ranking well.
The goal of this blog is to help you do your own Internet marketing.
Since Back Links are so important, we will focus on this first. Not every Link is a good link. If your selling dog supplies and you get a link from a tanning salon, then Google doesn’t put much value into this link. You need good quality, relevant links.
How do you get these? You can do it manually by contacting the website owners, automate it, or both. You should get a few manually and the bulk of your back links can be automated to save you time.
To automate this you need the right tools/software for creating Back Links. There are tons on the market for sure. Some good and some not so good. And the good ones are quite expensive.
